Beginner Driving Lessons
Never driven before? That's exactly who these are for.
The first time you sit in the driver's seat, everything feels like a lot — the mirrors, the gears, the other cars, the roundabout you weren't expecting. That's completely normal. Our beginner lessons are designed to take all of that and break it down into manageable steps.
We always start in a quiet area. No dual carriageways, no city centre traffic — just you, the car, and enough space to get comfortable. We'll walk you through the cockpit drill, how to move off smoothly, how to steer properly, and how to stop safely. It sounds simple, but getting these basics right makes everything else much easier.
Most students are genuinely surprised by how much they pick up in the first two or three lessons. That's not luck — it's how we structure things. By the time you're ready to tackle busier roads, you'll have the foundations to handle them properly.

EDT Lessons
Essential Driver Training — the 12 lessons required by law.
EDT — Essential Driver Training — is a mandatory requirement for every learner driver in Ireland. Before you can sit your driving test, you must complete 12 structured lessons with an RSA-approved instructor. There's no way around it, and honestly, there shouldn't be.
We're fully approved to deliver EDT, and we take it seriously. Each of the 12 lessons covers a specific topic set by the RSA — things like driving in traffic, night driving, motorway driving, and eco-driving. We'll log your progress in your EDT record book as you go, so you always know exactly where you stand.
A lot of people try to rush through EDT just to get it done. We understand the pressure, but we'd rather you actually learn from it. The skills you build in these 12 lessons are the ones that keep you safe for the rest of your driving life — not just on test day.

Pre-Test Lessons
Let's make sure you're actually ready — not just hoping for the best.
Pre-test lessons are for people who are close to their test date and want to go in feeling genuinely prepared. These sessions are more focused than regular lessons — we're specifically targeting the things that catch people out on test day, and there are more of them than you'd think.
We know the test routes used at Dublin test centres. We know what examiners look for, what they mark you on, and what the most common reasons for failure are. We use that knowledge to prepare you properly — not just to pass, but to drive well under pressure.
If you've failed before, these lessons are especially useful. We'll figure out exactly what went wrong and work on it — without making you feel bad about it. Failing a test is frustrating, but it's also fixable. Most people who come to us after a fail pass on their next attempt.

Refresher Lessons
Full licence, zero confidence. We fix that.
